Orientation: Things to See & Do While You're Here
Things to See
The Rotunda
From its polished marble floors to its spectacular domed ceiling, the Rotunda, the focal point of Marywood's Liberal Arts Center, is a campus landmark. Finished in 1937 by Roman artist Gonippo Raggi, the historic murals illustrate the history and principles of Christian education. The Hall of Presidents, which displays portraits of all Marywood's presidents, serves as the main entrance to the Rotunda and Liberal Arts Center.
Art Galleries
Marywood is home to 3 Art Galleries: The Mahady Gallery, the Suraci Gallery, and The Maslow Study Gallery. Exhibitions are often accompanied by artist's illustrated lectures and gallery talks in addition to award presentations, featured displays, special projects, and Artist Lecture Series. Marywood also houses 2 permanent collections of fine and decorative art.
