    International Education Honor Society, Rho Pi Chapter works in conjunction with the Pennsylvania State Educators Association (PSEA) Club. Kappa Delta Pi claims over 600 chapters across North America and 45,000 total members.     Phi Epsilon Kappa is the National Honor Society for Physical Education, Recreation, Health and Dance, Epsilon Sigma Chapter.  Phi Epsilon Kappa Fraternity is a national professional fraternity for persons engaged in or pursuing careers in physical education, health, recreation, dance, human performance, exercise science, sports medicine and sports management.

    Membership is open to any Health & Physical Education student who has completed 12 credits in the major and holds a GPA of between 3.0 and 3.5.

    Society for Collegiate Journalists


    Each year, students of sophomore standing or higher who have displayed a dedication to campus media receive invitations to join Marywood University’s chapter of the Society for Collegiate Journalists. Individual SCJ members and campus media organizations like The Wood Word, TV-Marywood and 91.7 VMFM have won numerous awards in the SCJ national contest, which is the only college media contest judged by professionals.

    The NSLS is the largest leadership honor society in the United States. Our NSLS chapter at Marywood University was started in 2017. Our local chapter is part of the national organization with 700+ chapters and over 1.4 million members.

    International Art Honor Society, Zeta Omicron Chapter The Zeta Omicron chapter of Kappa Pi International Art Honor Society is a service organization for art majors, sophomores & up who have at least a 3.0 overall GPA and a 3.5 in their major. Zeta Omicron helps our members get involved in the local art community. The group also sponsors several art-related community service projects each year, and offers scholarships as well as publication opportunities.
