Housing & Residence Life: Meal Plans

Residential Meal Plans

When signing up, select a meal plan based on your academic schedule, eating patterns and social life. Keep in mind that there can be up to four meal time periods per day: breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night.

All of our meal plans can be used at Marywood University's all-you-care-to-eat dining facility in the Nazareth Student Center. With the 19 or 15 meals per week plan or 150 Block plan, you may utilize three (3) meal swipe exchanges total per week at the Learning Commons location.

Traditional Meal Plans (19 and 15 Meals Per Week)

All incoming first-year residential students are required to maintain the 19 or 15 meals per week plan for the Fall and Spring semesters regardless of residence hall assignment.

The 19 or 15 meals per week plans allow you to enjoy up to a specified number of guaranteed meals each week during the semester you select it.  Meals do not carry over from week to week; they "reset" at the end of each week. The 19 or 15 meals per week plans do not allow the holder to swipe more than one meal per meal time period.  If you select the 19 or 15 meals per week plan, you may utilize three (3) meal swipe exchanges total per week at the Learning Commons location. Unused meals or dining dollars do NOT carry over from semester to semester.

150 Block Meal Plan

The block meal plan offers flexibility as the 150 meals can be used throughout the semester and carry over from week to week. You may utilize three (3) meal swipe exchanges total per week at the Learning Commons location. Unused meals or dining dollars do NOT carry over from semester to semester.

    Dining Dollars

Dining Dollars are accepted like cash in all of our dining locations. Dining Dollars work on the same principle as a debit card. You can use your Dining Dollars to purchase beverages, snacks, or even a full meal at any of our dining facilities. Each time you make a purchase, the purchase amount is subtracted from your Dining Dollar balance. Dining Dollars do NOT carry over from semester to semester. However, Pacer Points can be purchased and added to your account at any time and they carry over until they have been exhausted. Please note that the Pacer Points would be in addition to any Dining Dollars that accompany your meal plan.

*Residential students who do not actively select a meal plan and are required to have one will be assigned a 15 Meals Per Week plan. Meal plans can be changed during the first two weeks of the semester.

    Changing Meal Plans

Residential students have up until the end of the second week of classes each semester to change their assigned meal plan. In order to make a change to your meal plan, please send an email from your Marywood email address to [email protected] with your name, student ID #, current meal plan, and desired eligible meal plan. You will be notified via email once the desired eligible change has been made.
